Spacious new apartment

Positive: The location is great. Walkable to Keukenhof Park. You're right in the middle of the town. The apartment is spacious as advertised, with a lovely terrace. The kitchen is well appointed, and the space was clean. The washer works well, and you can air dry your clothes with a very large dry rack that has been provided (incidentally, upon check-in, there were sheets hanging to dry in the living room as we came in- not a great first impression). Negative: There were four of us staying here... two rooms separated by very thin walls. Also, the apartment shares stairwell space with another apartment, and you can hear that apartment s activity as well... so something just to be aware of. A few things could be done to improve the comfort of the stay: add blackout curtains to the bedroom windows... there is a very bright street light just outside the bedroom windows and it feels like daylight no matter the time of night. Mirrors. Add mirrors. There was no mirror in the (only) bathroom, and no mirror at all in one of the bedrooms. The mirror that was there was propped up in a desk, and you could only see your face. There was one half-sized mirror propped up against the wall in the hallway where you could see your bottom half. The walls in the apartment are totally bare... Plenty of opportunity to add mirrors. Add trashcans... there was only one in the kitchen. Here's the oddest thing about this apartment... there truly isn't one dedicated bathroom. There's a water closet that has a toilet and the smallest sink known to man. The shower is at the end of the hallway adjacent to one of the bedrooms, and there's a shower curtain in the hallway that you can pull closed to give privacy to the person talking the shower. It's hard to describe, but suffice it to say... if you don't know your travel partners well, this spans would be very uncomfortable. There's also one other sink added to the hallway wall just outside the oddly placed shower... again, no mirror and you can barely fit your hands in the sink. Completely useless. We all ended up brushing our teeth and washing our faces in the kitchen sink because that sink was big enough. And, to put in/take out our contacts, we used our reflections in the microwave as our mirror. I think this apartment could be a great rental, but it's not quite there yet.

Positive: Un peu déçu du logement. Ex: pas de vraie salle de bain,une douche dans un fond de couloir,avec une porte qui se ferme mal,un lave mains toujours dans le couloir,sans étagère,ni glace,pas de volet aux deux chambres, nuitée éclairée par les réverbères de la rue , poignée de porte wc,et accès cuisine,qui nous viennent dans les mains,un escalier d'accès, très raide à monter, Aucun store du salon ne fonctionne,...donc le soir,pas d'intimité possible,vis à vis du voisinage. Au 21 ème siècle....pas de télévision...chacun ses goûts certe ! ....mais quand-même.( Mea-culpa,nous avions lu le descriptif entre les lignes !)nous avons une telle confiance en Booking,.... c'est bien la 1ère fois qu'un logement me déçoit. Sinon la ville est très sympa,la situation géographique de l'appartement est très bien située. Je ne recommanderais pas ce logement. Sauf si quelques modifications y sont apportées. Negative: Tout est dit au dessus
